BSC Colombo Research and Innovation

Under LSC Scholarship and Research Policy framework, BSC Colombo Research and Innovation Hub as part of the global networks LSC Research & Innovation Centre aspires to continuously develop its education portfolio and academic enhancement through active research and engagement with its key stakeholders including staff, students, employers, government agencies, Higher Education partners and other professional organizations within the context of its own strategic goals and global visions. The teaching and learning philosophy and pedagogic vision therefore seeks to be research-informed as well as providing academic experience with a strong emphasis on the development of the knowledge, skills and capabilities appropriate to the rapidly changing global, cultural, human, technological business and organizational environment.

Currently the there are six main research clusters within LSC Research and Innovation Centre, which all BSC academic staff are associate members.

The BSC is committed to encouraging and supporting academics, researchers and professionals who are engaging in research in the strategic management of technology & innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing and competitiveness, leadership, organizational learning and knowledge management, international & cross-cultural management, global higher education management, government services, public sector management and emerging economies, which are core subject areas underpinning the BSC education programs portfolios.

As part of the global research networks of LSC RIC, BSC participates regularly various research events, workshops and seminars organized by the LSC RIC at London.
